The minds of artists… their ideas… the way they share their stories, can be fascinating, beautiful and sometimes make you wonder… My favorite type of art is any type of paintings. I love portraits, landscapes and of course, murals. Wherever city you venture you can surely find a mural around somewhere.
Here are some beautiful murals that I came across while traveling around the Western United States.
**Please note: NONE of this artwork belongs to me or was painted by me. I simply think this work is beautiful and should be shared. If you happen to know who the artist is, PLEASE leave a comment below so I can add a credit to their photo!**
1.) This mural is painted near a parking lot along the streets of downtown Sacramento, California.
2.) You can find the one below behind Calypso Coffee Shop in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
3.) This one may have been contracted by the city of Boise, Idaho… whether it was or was not, I love the old town imagery.
4.) The following two paintings can be found around the side streets in Bend, Oregon.
5.) The two you will see next can be found side by side somewhere in the outskirts of Seattle, Washington on the side of an apartment building.
6.) This one I passed by while on a bus driving through Tacoma, Washington. I was not able to get a completely clear image, but it is beautifully painted all the same.
7.) This last one is my absolute favorite! It is on the side of a parking garage in Reno, Nevada. You can find it near the intersection of the infamous “Reno: The Biggest Little City in the World” sign.
I hope you enjoyed a small glimpse of some of the beautiful murals scattered around the West Coast States. Again, if you happen to know the artists of any of these pieces, please let me know in the comments, I would love to give them the credit and praise they deserve.
